FEEDBACK BLOG: Giving it Away: How Free Music Makes More Than Sense

So good. Mental notes made.

derekwebb:

Music matters. It’s so integral and pervasive in our culture that it almost feels invisible. It’s even hard to imagine walking into almost any store without hearing music overhead. Culture provides a constant soundtrack to our lives. So it’s no wonder there’s so much discussion and debate…

Dear Photograph,
I have no idea what sort of Christmas present awaited my brother Casey in that tube. Just like I had no idea that this past week Casey would die in a horrible accident in Kerala, India. I wanted to bring him home one last time to our house in Texas. This is the only way I could…it’s been a tough week.

Blessed to be able to help out at this event. - lovewins.

Beginnings.
It’s new. It’s fresh. It’s exciting. It’s also overwhelmingly frightening. When the idea for this project was first revealed, my first reaction was an overwhelming sense of excitement and enthusiasm. As the realities of just how immense His call might prove to be hit home…both in effort and depth…I suddenly found myself staring up a narrow, steep climb. My heart was failing me then.
And yet, I know that in His endeavors, we are never left alone. In Him, we can never fail. In His name, hope springs eternal.
As this project moves along, my prayer is that we never lose focus from the One that inspired it.
